As a grand event with a future-focused and international perspective in the entire packaging industrial chain, the IPIF 2026 will return to April 14-15, 2026, at the Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center (Bao'an). The event aims to provide a platform for in-depth exchange between professionals from packaging production companies, raw material suppliers, brand owners, retail channels, e-commerce platforms, packaging universities and colleges, research institutions, and packaging industry associations, to explore global innovation in packaging and sustainable development.

 

Building on the success of six previous editions, IPIF is once again undergoing a comprehensive upgrade! This year's event will focus on the core themes of 'Promoting Sustainable Development, Unlocking New Growth Engines, and Enhancing Production Quality.' The event will feature two main forums: ‘Synergizing the Entire Industry Chain to Promote Sustainable Packaging Development' and 'Exploring the Growth Potential of New Quality Productive Forces and Market Segments.' These forums aim to help companies reduce costs, enhance efficiency, and improve sustainable development in the current economic climate. Additionally, six parallel sessions will spotlight packaging segments such as 'Food,' 'Catering Supply Chain,' 'Daily Chemicals,' 'Electronics & New Energy,' 'Health & Wellness,' and 'Alcoholic Drinks & Beverages,' to explore new growth opportunities in the current economy.

 

Simultaneously, a Packaging Innovation Exhibition will be set up outside the forum space during the two-day event, to provide more opportunities for business exchanges and cooperation between suppliers and buyers. This exhibition will bring together leading companies in packaging materials to showcase outstanding creative products and solutions. Additionally, the ‘IPIF Talk’ New Product Launch Conference will be held, to share the latest achievements in packaging innovation and sustainable development. The 'Blue Star Program' Sustainable Packaging Competition, held concurrently with the IPIF Conference, will display excellent sustainable packaging works and cutting-edge packaging solutions from around the world, encouraging environmental protection and innovation, and promoting green transformation and intelligent upgrading in the packaging industry chain.

Packaging Innovation Exhibition Area

The IPIF has established a Packaging Innovation Exhibition Area outside the conference zone, offering more opportunities for suppliers and purchasers to establish business connections. Over the years, it has attracted over 100 top-tier packaging material, product, and service suppliers, including industry leaders such as Dow Inc., Zhejiang Fule New Materials Co., Ltd., UPM Raflatac, BASF (China) Co., Ltd., Henkel (China) Investment Co., Ltd., Dongguan Ruize Chuangyi New Materials Co., Ltd., and Xinlian Group. The exhibition showcases outstanding creative packaging works and innovative solutions.

IPIF Talk: New Product Launch

During the tea break of the 2024 IPIF,  a New Product Launch was also held, provided suppliers with an excellent platform to showcase new products and promote their brands. This event attracted outstanding talents from various enterprises in the packaging industry to take the stage and engage in a "clash of expertise," sharing the latest achievements in packaging innovation and sustainable development. There will be new form in 2026.

"Blue Planet Initiative" Awards & Ceremony

The Blue Planet Initiative focuses on packaging innovation and sustainable development. The competition has gathered outstanding sustainable packaging works and innovative packaging solutions from around the world, encouraging eco-friendly and innovative concepts to help companies effectively advance their sustainable packaging strategies and promote the green transformation and upgrading of the packaging industry chain.
