As a forward-looking and globally-oriented event covering the entire packaging industry chain, the IPIF International Packaging Innovation Forum is not only dedicated to providing professionals from material suppliers, packaging manufacturers, brand owners, retail channels, e-commerce platforms, packaging educational institutions, and research institutions with a deep exchange platform for exploring global packaging innovation and sustainable development, but also aims to promote technological progress and industrial upgrading throughout the industry, facilitating the green transformation and development of China's packaging industry to new heights and achieving a sustainable future.
The organizers have invited global packaging industry leaders, internationally renowned packaging experts, industry leaders, and representatives of innovative enterprises to gather together to share the latest packaging R&D technology achievements, discuss the trends in packaging R&D technology, and help enterprises deeply understand the new trends in the domestic and international packaging industry. Since its launch in 2019, the IPIF has been successfully held for six sessions, attracting over 3,000 experts from brand owners in packaging sub-sectors such as food, beverages, wine, catering, pets, daily chemicals, electronics, electrical appliances, new energy, health, home medical care, supermarkets, and (cross-border) e-commerce platforms. This is not only a stage for showcasing the latest technologies and innovative achievements but also a great opportunity for promoting cooperation and exchange.
Based on years of in-depth thinking and review of the packaging industry, the IPIF 2026 IPIF International Packaging Innovation Forum will make significant innovative moves: changing the previous independent conference model and being held concurrently with the PACKCON China Packaging Container Expo in Shenzhen in April 14-15, 2026. This conference will take "innovation at the source" and "starting from the end" as its core ideas, covering the entire product life cycle (product production - packaging - transportation - retail/e-commerce - consumers - recycling and regeneration), and through innovation in five dimensions: model, experience, value, competition, and ecosystem, help participants from all links of the industrial chain deeply understand how to achieve the landing of innovative value while promoting sustainable industrial development through new productivity.

"Blue Planet” Sustainable Packaging Awards will be co-branded again at IPIF 2026.
Dedicated to packaging innovation and sustainable development, the competition collects outstanding sustainable packaging products and innovative packaging solutions all over the world, to encourage environmental protection and innovative ideas, help enterprises effectively advance sustainable packaging strategies, and promote the green transformation and upgrading of the industrial chain. This co-branded competition will be categorized into 2 groups - “Innovation” and “Environmental Protection”, as well as Best Popularity Award and the Most Popular Enterprise Award. Experts from the Blue Planet think tank will jointly review and select enterprises and individuals that have made outstanding achievements. Meanwhile, industry professionals will be invited to participate in the award ceremony, witnessing the "highlight" moment of the industry.
